The mission of Operation Shower Power is to provide assistance to homeless persons in St Petersburg, Fl and its vicinity. This assistance is to be in the form of a hot meal, toiletries, and a clean set of clothing. It is the intention that providing some of the necessities of life will boost the morale of those in need while giving them the confidence to face the day with hope.

Reaching out to other nonprofits - Check your area for all homeless projects that may be interested in helping you.
Advertising - Anywhere and everywhere. Look for local events to hand out flyers and business cards. Some papers will do free ads for nonprofits as well, make a video for YouTube, post your info in comments on Facebook whenever pertinent. Research.
Insurance - You can purchase insurance per fundraiser. It's called event insurance. Generally $150 to $300
